Chihuahua Speed painting video

I love to watch how artists work, where the work, how they think.  I spend way too much time on YouTube! I like to try the things I see.  This weekend, I made a speed painting of a pet portrait.  This was a 27 minute session, recorded on my cell phone, edited with Microsoft MovieContinue reading “Chihuahua Speed painting video”

Fridge-a-hator

I mentioned before that when I purchased my vintage fridge that in the same week I found the matching stove. It was a hunch on my part when I purchased it, so the minute that I could research it, I went straight to the computer and this little gem came up.  It is anContinue reading “Fridge-a-hator”

First place

My daughter turned 18 this year.  She was kind of born 18.  She came into the world trying to be the boss of everything and she is still that way. Lauren moved with us to the condo, but I could tell it was temporary.  She had started “nesting” at the old house, shopping and collecting things forContinue reading “First place”

To so many of us, it’s a powerful word.  I am getting regular inquiries from friends and family concerning my stuff as we move into our condo. Do youContinue reading “Stuffing the stuff into other stuff?”

Taste of fall

Orange snuck up on me this year.  Suddenly I love this color.  It might be a phase, a short fling, but it has also been appearing in my wardrobe.  Which means we are supposed to fall in love with it.  It’s out there in small doses, working it’s way into our hearts.  For me, itContinue reading “Taste of fall”
