Spring has sprung! I received the most beautiful May Day “basket” this afternoon! Our home is listed for sale and I spent all day cleaning and scrubbing.. just as we left for an afternoon showing, I noticed the most exquisite Iris in a lovely vase on the front porch.

I love surprises!
April is but a blur of house preparations, cleaning and organizing. During all the madness of remodeling and packing half the house away for “better showings”, my mind was busy planning this blog. I am so happy to have such a wonderful way to start the new month of May with this little colorful surprise.
It’s the inspiration for at least a dozen posts, devoted to the color purple! Check back, I am working on some fun things to inspire a decorating, painting, scrapping, sewing frenzy.. with the color purple.
